Caraway seed

 

 

 

My personal favourite reason to use caraway seed for is for it 's strong protective and healing properties especially towards children so parents take note on how to use these seeds to help give your child extra protection. Caraway seeds in many cultures are believed to ward of the evil eye offering protection,  good health and luck to babies.  To benefit from this use caraways as a ingredient in spell bottles and sachets  place the sachets or spell bottles.  I like to place caraway seeds in each corner of my childrens bedrooms too .
Not only does it protect children it will protect you too, you can carry some with you to ward off negativity , you can add to a coal disc to banish negativity,  spirts and entity's or add to bath water for relief from illness spiritual negativity .

Yes it a good ingredient for protection but its also a key ingredient for anti theft , place it with any item to prevent it being stolen . You can do this by putting it in a sachet,  jar , sprinkling it around the item you want to keep safe . Yes this includes your partner! You can add caraway seed to as a cooking ingredient to stop them wandering and promote lust in your relationship.  Its also known to encourage fidelity.

Caraway seeds also have another well known purpose and that is their use in love spells . It is used to attract new love or to reignite a relationship again it can be added to scaehets , jars ect to help manifest this intention , carry these with you when you want to attact love into your life . Going on a date add caraway seed to your preparations by adding it to your pre date bath water , if you chew on some before your date it will bring help encourage a loving relationship. Why not bring some in a sachet in your bag for a triple threat. Thats not the only useful time to chew on some caraway seeds ! Try sneak some in for a chew before a you share a kiss with somebody you have love intrests in as this little seed will help make them fall in love with you .

Dandelion

Element  : air Planet : Jupiter Everyone recognises this spell ingredient in both it's bring yellow stage and its famous make a wish fluffy puffy stage. Bright and beautiful although it is considered  a weed its one im happy to see in my garden as it a useful ( and free ) . Growing up we where told tales of how you would wet the bed if you pick a dandelion,  i have made many a wish blowing dandelions as im sure you have too ! Dandelions bring hope and luck so they are perfect for manifesting wishs. As mentioned above dandelions bring luck and hope so its a good ingredientto add to any spellwork forva boost of luck ., Its also useful in spells for joy and  happiness . You can incorporate them to your spellworkin many ways herecare a few simple ideas . Place a fresh bunch of dandelions on your altar , they are sure to brighten it up while working their magick , arrange them around your spell candle ,  use a corresponding oil for your spell candle then sprinkle dried dandelion , using freash flowers is ok to whichever you prefer. Because of the bright colour dandelions are great additions to spells jars and sachets if you are like me and live some colour! The yellow correspones to happiness and joy  but that not all its used for . Add dandelions to spell sachets and jars to take with you when you need a boost in confidence.  Its a great ingredient to add to all spells connected to bravery and confidence. There are more than a few reasons to bring yourself a bouquet of dandelions into you home a main one for me being  that they will rid your space of negative spiritual energy and dispense dark thoughts from the occupants.  Not only can it dispense dark thoughts but if you can use the roots in sleep sachets,  jars or simply under your pillow for sleep protection. Did you known that everything on a dandelion is edible? It's actually great for divination tea , its a fantastic and easy way to open your mind to hear the spirts. Drinking tea made from the flower itself is said to help when you what to call on deities . When you drink tea made from the root it aids manifestation, divination and is good to drink before calling on spirts. Drinking this tea well aid digestion and drinknthe yellow flower is said to liver complains . Best of all its usually free all you have to do is boil the kettle and pick some dandelions.

Eucalyptus

Element  :Water/ air Planet  :  MoonEucalyptus is native to Australia and i cant help but think of cute little koala bears munching away on it . Apart from being these little guys snacks eucalyptus has many other uses . The protective properties of eucalyptus are short lived but it is very potent so it is great to use for immediate protection or to immediately eliminate negative energies. To use it for protection here are a few options,  as a smoke cleanseing with eucalyptus smudge stick,  make eucalyptus water to put in a spray bottle or simply sprinkle it around your home . When made as a wreath its absolutely gorgeous and will protect your entry way and ward off negativity energies,  it dosnt have to be a wreath a bunch by the door will work just as well.  Anointing oils made with eucalyptus are great for cleansing your ritual tools, its strong and effective. This is a excellent herb for when someone is bothering you ,  take a photo or write the name of the person bothering you ( if its via phone you can use their number ) then tie it to three steams  of eucalyptus tightly and put it in the freezer , or burn it with intent.  Another  easy way to benefit from its protective properties, you can use some oil or eucalyptus water to splash on for a night out .  Eucalyptus will create a protection barrier around you but you unlike other protective herbs it won't  constrain others while doing so .The other main property of eucalyptus is its healing powers. Its a key ingredient for health spells it can be burned , used in health poppets,  spell jars and sachets,  sprayed as infused water or simply sprinkles around to promote health and healing. If you have a sick loved one gift them some eucalyptus in their bouquet of flowers, or place bunch of eucalyptus near a photograph of them to promote health and healing.  Raising vibrations and bringing new energy to suitations eucalyptus will help relieve you from mental exhaustion whil easing your worries.  It can be used alone or mixed with other ingredients for optimal results. A popular tip for eucalyptus you may of heard of is you hang it in your shower . This is because the steam from the shower will then release the oils from the eucalyptus  so you can benefit from all it wondeful uses while you shower.  Eucalyptus showers will give you mental clarity,  help de stress , enhance you mood . That not to mention its great fir respiratory health,  has anti - inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Warning: Eucalyptus essential oil is TOXIC  is large quantities,  always use a carrier oil and take breaks from essential oil use to avoild toxic build up.
